Senior Residential Support Worker

What will I be doing as a Senior Support Worker/Team Leader?
* Develop positive relationships with the young people in our care, their families and external agencies
* Lead shifts within the home and supervise staff
* Contribute to the young person's care plans and any risk assessments, supporting with implementation and reviews
* Support young people with daily activities, educational needs and emotional wellbeing
* Ensure that good quality records are maintained as required
What we are looking for?
* Completed NVQ/Level 3 or 4 Diploma in Residential Childcare is essential
* Experience working within a children's residential setting
* Ability to interact with young people and manage challenging behaviours calmly
* A full UK driving licence
* Over 21 years of age to meet industry regulations
* Flexibility to work shifts including weekends, evenings and sleep‑in duties on a rota basis – our shifts are 7:30 am to 11:00 pm and sleep‑ins 11:30 pm to 7:30 am; 2 days on and 4 days off rolling rota (paid at £50 per sleep)
