Our clients, based in Portsmouth, have an exciting opportunity for a Lead Quality Auditor to join their growing team.
Lead Quality Auditor
The Lead Auditor reports directly to the Quality Manager and is responsible for:
1. Establishing the internal auditing programme in conjunction with the Quality Manager.
2. Conducting internal audits on the company's quality, environmental, and health and safety systems.
3. Conducting external audits as required.
4. Preparing audit reports for the Quality Manager's approval prior to distribution.
5. Monitoring and administering the Non-conformance system, including follow-up audits and verification of corrective actions.
6. Assisting the Quality Manager in training internal auditors as needed.
7. Maintaining appropriate records.
8. Maintaining cleanliness and order in the quality department and workstation.
9. Complying with H&S and Environmental requirements at all times.
10. Ensuring PPE is in good condition and reporting any issues immediately.
11. Liaising with your manager to identify training needs for personal development.
Required Skills & Experience
1. Experience in auditing within a manufacturing environment.
2. Experience conducting internal audits.
Working Hours
7:30 am to 4:00 pm, Monday to Thursday, and 7:30 am to 12:30 pm on Friday.
