The Role
Are you passionate about transforming the lives of young people who are NEET (Not in Education, Employment, or Training) and those with additional needs? An exciting opportunity has arisen in our brand-new Future Focus Centre for a dynamic and experienced lecturer to lead our Future Focus (NEETS) & Supported Internship programmes. The role involves delivering high-quality, engaging, and impactful learning experiences, ensuring outstanding teaching, learning, and assessment that lead to positive progression outcomes.
As a Lecturer in our Future Focus Centre, you will primarily teach on our NEET provision 16-18 courses, supporting and guiding individuals who are not engaged in education, employment, or training, assisting them with reintegration into these areas.
Your responsibilities include providing personalised educational support, mentoring, and guidance to help NEET individuals acquire necessary skills, qualifications, and confidence to pursue further education, employment, or vocational training opportunities.
What are we looking for?
You will be educated to degree level or equivalent and possess a recognised teaching qualification or be willing to undertake in-service training. Previous experience working with learners with learning difficulties/disabilities is essential.
