To be responsible for supporting the resourcing needs of the Regional Audit department, including but not limited to the following areas:
* Acting as Exam Training Manager (ETM) for the regional audit team
* Responsible for staff planning and Retain management for the regional audit team
* Booking and coordinating attendance at internal training courses for regional audit staff
* Administrative support
Responsibilities
ETM
* Supporting trainees throughout their training contracts, ensuring course/exam bookings are made and providing support before exams
* Overseeing the Exam Support Group
* Updating RAMP, Line Managers, and HR on trainees’ progress and managing issues
* Liaising with external training providers (e.g., BPP and Kaplan) for updates on student progress
* Assisting Audit Group Managers in preparing business cases for trainee contract extensions
* Organizing and leading national ETM meetings for consistency
* Training and guiding new ETMs
* Training Assistant Regional Audit Coordinators as ETM Assistants
* Performing other ETM-related activities as needed
Staff Planning and Retain Management
* Managing staffing issues and updating Retain, including decision-making and difficult conversations
* Meeting with HR and AGM’s bi-weekly to discuss staffing
* Keeping RAMP updated on staffing matters
* Approving/declining holiday and TOIL requests
* Managing leave balances and bi-annual roll-forward exercises
* Attending staffing and AGM meetings regionally
* Monitoring bookings and budgets in Retain
* Liaising with managers, RI’s, and editors outside the region
* Providing input on staffing issues based on feedback and data
Internal Training Courses
* Organizing internal training sessions as needed
* Coordinating with AQC’s to ensure regional staff attend mandatory training
Regional Administrative Support
* Booking and setting up non-mandatory training and meetings
* Liaising with RAMP (via PA) for local office meetings
* Attending manager and moderation meetings, taking minutes, and following up on action points
* Performing other ad hoc duties as agreed
Other Audit Support
* Participating in interviews for Part Qualified candidates regarding study and exams
* Welcoming new joiners through social events and team calls

* Experience supervising others and boosting team morale
* Experience with Retain (training provided if needed)
