The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and processing supplier invoices, supporting supplier payments, assisting with month-end journals, and ensuring supplier onboarding processes run smoothly. This role is vital in keeping financial operations accurate, compliant, and efficient. Purchase Ledger Clerk responsibilities: Accurately process and manage supplier invoices. Prepare and support supplier payment runs. Assist with month-end journals and reconciliations. Maintain accurate records of supplier accounts, ensuring queries are resolved promptly. Support supplier onboarding, including compliance checks and data entry. Liaise with internal departments and external suppliers to resolve invoice/payment issues. Ensure adherence to company financial procedures and reporting requirements. Contribute to process improvements within the purchase ledger function. Purchase Ledger Clerk requirements: Previous experience working in a purchase ledger/accounts payable role. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry. Good knowledge of basic accounting principles. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial systems. Excellent organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
