Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated Trainee Dental Nurse to join our dental practice. Duties
* Assisting dentists during various dental procedures, including preparing equipment and materials
* Providing support to patients before, during, and after treatment to ensure comfort and reassurance
* Maintaining a clean and sterile environment by following infection control protocols
* Organising and managing patient records and appointment schedules efficiently
* Handling administrative tasks such as updating patient information using IT systems
* Ensuring the dental surgery is well-stocked with necessary supplies and equipment
* Communicating effectively with patients, team members, and external suppliers
* Supporting the team with general administrative duties as required
Requirements
* Basic knowledge of patient care principles and a genuine interest in healthcare and dentistry
* Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
* Good IT skills for managing digital records and appointment systems
* Ability to work well within a team and demonstrate professional behaviour at all times
* Previous experience in nursing or healthcare is advantageous but not essential
* A positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and commitment to developing a career in dental nursing
