Trainee Composite Laminator
Winsearch are recruiting on behalf of a well-established composites manufacturer supplying the automotive, aerospace, and motorsport sectors.

The Role
As a Trainee Laminator, you will receive full training in laminating tooling and components while learning to work from engineering drawings and technical instructions.
You’ll support the production team in delivering high-quality composite components, ensuring customer delivery targets are met without compromising quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in laminating tooling and composite components
Support sealing and releasing of patterns and moulds
Assist with vacuum bagging of tooling and components
Support loading and operation of ovens and autoclaves (full training provided)
Assist with template manufacture and kit cutting of composite materials
Work to laminating manuals and technical drawings
Maintain high housekeeping standards in line with 5S and LEAN practices
Support the team in meeting delivery deadlines while maintaining quality standards
What We’re Looking For

Ability to follow instructions and technical drawings
Interest in automotive, aerospace, or motorsport industries
Previous composites experience is beneficial but not essential. Candidates with experience in manufacturing, engineering workshops, or technical production environments are encouraged to apply.
