The Royal Free London Private Patients Unit (PPU) is a dynamic and fast‑paced working environment that rapidly adapts to meet the demands of the service.

This role is for an individual who wishes to work alongside a supportive team that values hard work and invests in people. If you enjoy working with people, have a great sense of customer service and are keen to develop your career, then this is the place to be.


Responsibilities

* Administer the Private Patients Unit's administration services and daily functions.
* Work a variable rota – Monday to Friday from 7 am to 8 pm, with occasional Saturdays.
* Carry out daily administrative tasks, including processing paperwork, managing records and scheduling.
* Engage with patients, consultants, referrers, external providers and staff across all other departments to provide world‑class customer service.
* Maintain an impeccable telephone and email manner, confident in dealing with people at all levels.
* Work cross‑site at Hadley Wood Hospital when required.


Qualifications

* Experience as a Private Administration Coordinator or in a similar role, preferably within a NHS environment.
* Excellent communication skills and a customer‑focused approach.
* Team‑player, meticulous, detail‑oriented and enthusiastic, capable of working in a challenging and changing environment.
* Eligible to work in the United Kingdom or meet the criteria for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker visa route.
