As an Assets Surveyor, you will be: Leading and managing multiple investment projects, ensuring high-quality delivery, budget control, and customer satisfaction Undertaking comprehensive surveys of the property assets, collecting data to inform long-term investment and maintenance plans Carrying out inspections of materials, workmanship, and communal areas to ensure compliance with specifications, contracts, and health & safety legislation Preparing detailed specifications, schedules of works, and tender documentation in line with procurement policy Conducting building surveys to assess structural defects, fire damage, and disrepair, providing recommendations and costed repair schedules Ensuring compliance with relevant statutory approvals and regulations, including CDM 2015, Building Regulations, and Planning requirements Identifying and recording health, safety, and welfare concerns within properties and signposting residents to appropriate internal teams Id love to speak to anyone who has: A qualification in a building or construction-related discipline Experience managing major works or planned maintenance programmes, including procurement and contract management Knowlwege of HHSRS Sound knowledge of building pathology, housing disrepair, and asset management principles Experience diagnosing defects such as damp and mould and specifying appropriate repairs A full UK driving licence The Assets Surveyor role is offering the following benefits: Up to 8% matched pension contribution 26 days annual leave bank holidays (with the option to buy more) Life cover and access to a company vehicle and fuel card Supportive team culture with genuine career progression opportunities The chance to make a meaningful difference to homes and communities across the region The role is offering a competitive salary of 40-45k annually Location & travel This role is based in the West Midlands, offering a central location with excellent transport links.
