Driverlink Training are currently recruiting full time permanent Class 1 HGV Day drivers.Experience is preferred but we will consider all candidates and for the right person a training plan will be put together.Shift patterns are on a 4 on 4 off rota with optional overtime always available. Other shift patterns may well become available.Day shifts - £15.60 per hour (start times between 04:00 - 07:00)Daily Bonus is also available after a successful probationary period.If you consider yourself to be a professional driver with the desire to learn, have the right attitude towards developing your skill set and strive to operate with the utmost compliance, we would like to hear from you.Key Responsibilities:To deliver Third Party products to specified locations inc store deliveries, ensuring correct paperwork for the delivery.·Always adhere to Tachograph and WTD rules and regulations·Observe and adhere to company policies and procedures, including all aspects of SSOWs, health & safety and hygiene·Ensure proof of deliveries (PODs) are signed and returned to the Transport Office·Responsible for the accurate, timely movement of deliveries·Ensuring compliant load securing (as per training)·Ensuring absolute compliance in vehicle checks and defect reporting (as per training)·Adhering to safe working practice to always ensure the safety of yourself and others·Achieve and succeed fuel efficiency targets set by the company·Any other duties as reasonably requiredDriverlink value all their staff, we offer a friendly working environment.
