The Role: We are looking for a motivated Head of Projects, experienced within the IT Professional Services industry, who will come in and put their stamp on the team. Responsibilities: Lead, manage and develop our Projects and Program team, including Project Managers and Project Coordinators Define and execute best working practices and roll out Playbooks of defined and proven practices and workflows to ensure service excellence Responsibility for driving continuous improvement of project management processes and practices Hands on management and delivery of key customer projects Ensuring excellent customer satisfaction through delivery of projects to the agreed cost, time, scope, quality and security constraints Provide monthly project pipeline / utilisation data to support effective business decisions Proactively manage customer relationships to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction Provide regular, accurate and timely client reporting to meet and exceed customer’s expectations Establish regular, clear and consistent channels of communication at all levels within the organisation. Skills and Experience: Experience in managing a Project Management team within the IT Services space is essential Project management qualifications such as Prince2 are essential Proven success in technical project delivery An advanced level of technical knowledge, especially with Data Centers, surrounding Networking, Storage, Infrastructure and Architecture Experience of leading multiple projects at the same time Ability to build relationships with team members across the business Experience of strategic/operational leadership within a growing SME would be highly advantageous.
