At Vision for Education, we are currently seeking experienced professionals to work as SEN Teaching Assistants in Primary Schools in central York and the surrounding areas. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you'll be supporting children aged 2–11 with a variety of complex needs, including autism, physical disabilities, and learning difficulties. Responsibilities include: Providing one-to-one and small group support Aiding communication and classroom engagement Supporting mobility and physical needs Delivering personal care respectfully and sensitively Working closely with teaching staff and therapists to provide a nurturing environment What We’re Looking For: Experience in care or support work (children or adults) A compassionate and resilient nature Confidence in providing personal care when needed Ability to commit to the school’s working hours An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply) Able to provide references, and proof of right to work and address Why Register with Vision for Education?
