Role Responsibilities:
* Teach Drama across Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential to teach at Key Stage 5 based on experience and interest.
* Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons catering to diverse learning styles.
* Utilize a range of teaching methods, including improvisation, devising, script work, physical theatre, and voice work.
* Direct and produce school productions, providing performance opportunities for students.
* Assess student progress, set targets, and offer constructive feedback.
* Contribute to curriculum development and resource creation within the department.
* Collaborate with colleagues to foster a positive learning environment.
* Participate in professional development to enhance teaching practice.
Candidate Requirements:
* Holds QTS or equivalent qualification.
* Strong subject knowledge in Drama.
* Passionate about teaching and student success.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
* Ability to build rapport and foster an inclusive environment.
* Supportive of the school's Catholic ethos and values.
