Job Title: Band 6 CPN - Adult CMHT Location: Caithness Area Rate: Up to £37.06 Working Pattern: Full-Time, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm Working Hours & Contract Duration: Full-Time hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. Contract duration: 3-6 months ongoing. Start date: ASAP – within 4 weeks. What You’ll Be Doing: Working within an Integrated Health and Social Care Team. Carrying out assessments, care planning, care implementation, and reviews. Acting as a care co-ordinator where appropriate for clients in the Caithness area. Demonstrating a broad range of clinical therapeutic work. Working both independently and within a multi-disciplinary team setting. Roles & Responsibilities as a CPN in a CMHT: Assessment & Care Planning: Conducting comprehensive mental health assessments and developing individualized care plans for service users. Care Coordination: Managing a caseload of clients, ensuring that care is provided in a coordinated manner across different services. Treatment & Intervention: Providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions (e.g., CBT, family therapy, psychoeducation) to clients with complex mental health conditions. Crisis Management: Offering support during mental health crises, liaising with other services as required. Collaboration: Working with social workers, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care for service users. Monitoring & Reviewing: Regularly reviewing clients’ progress, adjusting care plans as necessary, and ensuring clients’ needs are met. Risk Management: Identifying, assessing, and managing potential risks related to mental health and safeguarding. Documentation & Reporting: Maintaining accurate and up-to-date clinical records and reports in line with legal and professional standards. Requirements & Qualifications: Experience in Adult Community Mental Health (Adult CMHT). Band 6 qualification or equivalent. Driving licence required; ideally, the candidate should have their own car, but there may be a car available to use at times. Strong clinical skills and experience in therapeutic settings.
