Primary 1:1 SEND Teaching Assistant - Birmingham
Are you an outstanding Primary SEND Teaching Assistant with experience supporting children with behavioural and additional needs?
I am currently recruiting for schools in Birmingham seeking to appoint experienced 1:1 Teaching Assistants. The role starts as soon as possible and is a full-time position.
The schools are eager to grow and are interested in innovative teaching assistants who are resilient and engaging. They need staff who can brighten a child's day and make them feel fully inclusive and supported.
The ideal candidates would be talented and experienced Teaching Assistants who have worked with children with additional needs, particularly behavioural challenges. You must also be passionate and willing to support students with a range of needs.
Requirements:
1. Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent for ratio purposes)
2. Experience working with children with additional needs, including challenging behaviour
3. Experience within a Primary School (preferably 6+ months)
4. Updated and clean DBS on the update service
5. Resilience and patience
6. Ability to be a great team player
7. MAPA/Team Teach certification or willingness to train
