We’re now looking for an experienced Team Leader to join our team on a Full Time Permanent basis. This role offers full-time hours (36.25 hours per week) About the role As Team Leader, you will oversee the productivity and performance of all repairs operatives, ensuring that work is delivered to a high standard and in line with safety regulations, including the implementation of Awaab’s Law. You will work closely with the Senior Repairs and Maintenance Manager to assign tasks, manage quality, and maintain accurate records of HHSRS hazards. You’ll use quality control measures to ensure repairs meet specification, safety standards, and customer expectations. Site assessments will be a key part of your role, helping to identify potential issues and develop robust plans for completing required works. You’ll collaborate with stakeholders to resolve logistical and technical challenges that arise on site. The role also involves working with the scheduling team to allocate resources effectively, promoting a proactive approach to damp and mould reporting and data management. You’ll foster a positive team culture, encouraging safety, quality, and collaboration across the service. What We Are Looking For We’re looking for someone with strong leadership and communication skills. A Good understanding of Decent homes standards and the repairs processes. You will also have a good attention to detail and ability to read and understand technical literature. A good team player and Adaptable. This is an agile role, with travel expected due to the dispersed nature of our tenants and customers’ homes. You’ll work flexibly across locations, including from home, Progress offices, and out in the community.
