This full-time role is available immediately and will continue until the end of the academic year, with potential for further opportunities beyond July. This rewarding Functional Skills Teacher position involves working with learners from Entry Level through to Level 2, delivering both Maths and English Functional Skills within a nurturing college environment. The successful Functional Skills Teacher will play a key role in helping students build confidence, develop essential life skills, and achieve meaningful progress in their education. The college is seeking a professional who can build strong relationships with learners, particularly those with SEN needs, and adapt their teaching style to suit a range of learning abilities and communication styles. This is an excellent opportunity for a compassionate and engaging Functional Skills Teacher who thrives in a learner-focused environment. The successful Functional Skills Teacher will be responsible for delivering Functional Skills Maths and English sessions, managing NOCN Functional Skills requirements, and supporting Speaking and Listening assessments. You will work closely with students to encourage participation, independence, and achievement in a positive and inclusive atmosphere.
