Leeds Federated is seeking a dedicated Neighbourhood Officer to join our Area Team. In this role, you’ll take ownership of a designated portfolio of homes, acting as the primary point of contact for our customers. You’ll be responsible for building strong, positive relationships and ensuring our customers receive a high-quality, responsive service based on trust, transparency, and mutual respect.
What you’ll do:
1. Act as the main interface between the association and the customers, liaising with colleagues to ensure services are provided effectively.
2. Provide support that recognises and responds to the needs of individuals and communities.
3. Take ownership of customer enquiries across all channels, ensuring they are resolved efficiently and to a high standard.
4. Take prompt and fair action in cases of tenancy breaches, anti-social behaviour, or safeguarding concerns.
5. Carry out estate inspections and monitor communal areas to ensure safety and cleanliness standards.
6. Support customers through the moving-in and moving-out process, ensuring empty homes are re-let promptly, sustainably, and with care.
7. Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to improve community wellbeing.
8. Use feedback and performance data to improve services and customer satisfaction.
What we’re looking for:
1. Proven experience in housing management and/or delivering care and support services.
2. A confident communicator with a customer-focused mindset.
3. Strong track record of completing administrative tasks with high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
4. Proficient in navigating digital and computer-based systems.
5. Skilled in problem-solving and confident in making informed decisions.
6. Committed to continuous improvement and delivering high-quality outcomes.
7. Holder of a valid UK driving licence.
8. Able to travel and work from various locations as required.
