Salary
Circa £57,000 depending on experience
Working Arrangements
Hybrid working: 4-5 days per week on-site due to workload classification
Security Clearance
British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship. Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. All successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.

The Opportunity
Software engineering develops real-time embedded software for missile subsystems. We seek a self-motivated embedded software engineer to develop and deliver software on time, on budget, and to quality standards for missile systems. This involves working in a small team across the entire Software Development Lifecycle, from requirements to delivery.
The role involves interfacing with multiple stakeholders across disciplines such as systems design, electronics, safety, security, and quality.
What We're Looking For
* Experience in embedded software development using Ada, C, and C++
* Experience with model-based development tools like UML or IBM Rhapsody
* A proactive, flexible approach to solving technical problems
* Focus on code quality, including participation in code and design reviews
* Ability to develop maintainable and adaptable code
* Effective communication and collaboration skills with diverse stakeholders
