We are seeking a resilient, relatable, and dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to support students aged 11:16 with needs ranging from Autism (ASD) and ADHD to Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges.
Your goal isnt just to help them finish a worksheet; its to give them the tools to navigate the classroom, build friendships, and gain the independence they need for life after school.

Your Core Responsibilities
* 1:1 Mentoring: Support a specific student through their timetable, helping them break down complex instructions into manageable tasks.
* Social Coaching: Help students navigate the social minefield of secondary school, from lunchtimes to group projects.
* Exam Support: Act as a reader or scribe for students during assessments to ensure they can show what they know.
* De:escalation: Use your training to spot triggers early and help students manage their emotions in a busy school environment.
