Agincare is experiencing rapid growth, and with that comes exciting opportunities to strengthen our support teams. We're now looking for a skilled and proactive Senior Payroll Assistant to join our busy finance department and play a key role in delivering accurate, efficient, and compliant payroll services.
About the Role
Reporting directly to the Head of Payroll, you'll be responsible for managing your own payrolls from start to finish, supporting wider payroll projects, and providing guidance and training to colleagues. You'll work closely with senior payroll leaders and contribute to the continuous improvement of our payroll processes and policies.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in payroll, accounts receivable, or sales ledger who's ready to take the next step in their career within a supportive and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
* End-to-end payroll processing for assigned payrolls
* Collaborate on project-based work with senior payroll colleagues
* Handle third-party reporting including Nest, HMRC, Court Orders, and Office of National Statistics
* Provide expert guidance on payroll policies and procedures
* Respond to payroll queries with accuracy and professionalism
* Supply key payroll data as needed
What We're Looking For
We're seeking someone with:
* Proven experience in payroll, accounts receivable, or sales ledger
* Strong Excel skills and confidence with IT systems
* A flexible, can-do attitude and ability to adapt to changing demands
* The ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
* A collaborative mindset and willingness to support and train others
