The Livermead House Hotel is looking for experienced waiting staff with a positive attitude to customer service, to join our renowned Restaurant team
The requirement to work some Friday to Monday shifts is essential. Other hours may be offered outside of these hours if the candidate is interested.
Sunday shifts may include lunch and/or breakfast and dinner shifts
For those who are looking for ongoing work, Christmas and New Year, and other Public holidays will be essential to working hours, and candidates recruited in the autumn, will be ideally core staff for the December events and Christmas and New Year Period.
The team:
You must have some experience of working in a restaurant or hotel previously.
You will be of smart appearance.
You must understand the importance of reliability, good time keeping and be committed to weekend working in particular.
You will be able to work as part of a team.
You will have good customer care skills and be interested in making customers feel welcome.
You will be required to notify management at the earliest opportunity if you are unable to attend due to exceptional reasons eg taken ill etc.,
Responsibilities of our Restaurant team:
Being able to professionally take food and drink orders from guests
Assist in preparing the restaurant for daily service
Be a good team player, and support colleagues where required
Communicate to management any customer concerns or positive feedback
Maintain and promote a high level of cleanliness throughout the Restaurant
Communicate in a professional and friendly manner to all guests and other members of the team
To carry out any other reasonable request by the Restaurant Manager or other members of the senior management team
Full training will be given, including silver service training.
National minimum wage as well as experience will be taken into account for pay rates for those under the age of 21.

Pay: From £12.21 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 30 per week
