Open position for Social Media Manager at FastNetMon
We’re looking for a technical Social Media Manager with strong content creation skills and a deep understanding of Telecom and Cyber Security — especially DDoS attacks and defence. This role can be part-time or full-time depending on the candidate and skillset.
Key responsibilities include:
* Managing and growing our presence across LinkedIn, X (formerly Twitter), and other relevant platforms
* Turning highly technical product updates from engineering into clear, engaging content
* Monitoring industry news on telecom equipment (Cisco, Juniper, Nokia, Arista, Huawei) and major DDoS threat events, and reacting with timely posts
* Publishing educational content about networking topics (BGP, DNS, OSPF, MPLS, IPv6, NAT, Firewalls, Ethernet, optical transport, etc.)
* Engaging with our global network engineering and cybersecurity community
* Tracking performance metrics and iterating on our social strategy

Requirements:
* Understanding of Telecom and Cyber Security topics
* Proven experience in technical social media content creation and audience engagement
* Ability to translate complex networking concepts into concise and accessible posts
* Fluency in English with strong written communication skills
* Familiarity with analytics tools and social media scheduling workflows

This role is remote and open to independent contractors based in the US, Canada, UK, or EU.
