North West Based.£40,000 - £65,000 + Flexitime, Pension & Paid Overtime.Exciting projects for a range of industries.Ref: 22498Control Systems Engineer – The Job:Fully test and commission the equipment and machinery to ensure a successful FAT & SATProgramme a range of robots including ABB, KUKA, FANUC, YaskawaDetermine customer/process requirements from discussions and technical documentationProduce customer sign off and technical documentation such as functional design specificationsLiaise with suppliers to ensure suitable equipment function and operation within cost and scheduleCommunicate accurate project status to the project leads, enabling pro-active planningAlongside the wider design team produce required technical documentation complying with UK and international standards and machinery directive, including risk assessments and machinery manualsProvide on-site training for customer and machine operatorsCarry out design or timing calculations either by hand or using softwareCollaborate with wider design teams and departments to improve functions and processesControl Systems Engineer – The Person:Degree/equivalent or higher in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics EngineeringExperience with Siemens and Rockwell programming software.
