Aston Education is working with an Ofsted Good 11‑18 secondary academy in Lewisham, Southeast London (inner London).
The school is looking for a permanent full‑time Head of Creative Arts with QTS / QTLS who has the ability to motivate and inspire others and teach across the age and ability range from KS3 to KS5.

Responsibilities
As Head of Creative Arts, you will lead Art, Design, Hospitality & Catering, and Photography, setting a clear vision for an engaging, inclusive, and ambitious Creative Arts curriculum.
This is a genuine opportunity to shape curriculum, provision, and outcomes across the Creative Arts, inspiring students through high‑quality practical and creative learning.
While the role spans all Creative Arts subjects, this post would ideally suit a candidate with an Art or Design Technology background and a readiness to take on broader faculty leadership.

Qualifications
* Qualified teacher status (QTS)
* Degree in Art and Design or another relevant subject
* Successful experience teaching Art or Design Technology to KS3‑KS5
* Proven track record of improving the quality of teaching and learning
* Experience coaching and mentoring colleagues
* Experience in a Key Stage Lead or Second in Charge of Art or Design Technology role would be beneficial
