About the Role:
You will be responsible for delivering engaging and inclusive lessons in Art, Craft and Design, with elements of DT, across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5. Working with small class sizes, you’ll have the opportunity to tailor your teaching, build meaningful relationships, and make a real impact on each learner’s journey.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons in Art and Design, including DT components.
Teach across KS3, KS4, and KS5, adapting content to suit a range of abilities and learning styles.
Work closely with students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), ensuring they are supported and engaged.
Foster a creative, supportive classroom environment where students feel confident to express themselves.
Contribute to the wider school community and bring your own personality and passion into school life.
About You:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Proven experience teaching Art, Craft and Design, with confidence in delivering aspects of DT.
Experience working with SEN students is essential.
A creative, adaptable, and empathetic teaching approach.
Passionate about giving every student a voice and helping them thrive through art.
