We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Year 5 Class Teacher to join a vibrant and supportive school community for the full 2025–2026 academic year.

Duties as Year 5 Teacher:
* Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the National Curriculum for Year 5.
* Use a range of teaching strategies to meet the needs of all learners, including those with SEND and EAL.
* Assess, record and report on the development, progress and attainment of pupils.
* Create a positive and stimulating classroom environment that promotes learning and celebrates achievement.
* Establish and maintain positive relationships with pupils, parents and carers.
* Promote good behaviour and uphold the school’s values and behaviour policy.
* Participate in year group planning meetings, staff meetings, and whole-school events.
* Take an active role in the wider life of the school, including extracurricular activities, assemblies and trips.
* Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and support staff to meet the needs of the class.
* Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance practice and contribute to school improvement.
Ideal Year 5 Teacher:
* Be an enthusiastic and reflective practitioner with a commitment to high standards.
* Have experience teaching in Key Stage 2 (preferably Upper KS2).
* Demonstrate strong classroom management and a creative approach to the curriculum.
* Work effectively as part of a collaborative team as a Year 5 Teacher.
* Build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
