Inclusion - Teaching & Learning Assistant – C Grade, Brighton
A fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic, positive and forward-thinking individual to make a real difference to the life chances of young people. We are looking for dynamic, child-centred applicants for this key position within our Inclusion Team. You will need to have an interest in working with young people and be looking for an opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in this area. Many of our Teaching & Learning Assistants have undertaken training opportunities provided and have gone on to careers in teaching.
Responsibilities
* As a Teaching & Learning Assistant in our Bridge and KS3 Alternative Provision, you will be working at our on-site alternative provision hubs, supporting and enabling students with behavioural needs to reach their full potential.
Salary and benefits
Salary Scale for this role: LGA Scale 5 Point 13 (£29,064-£31,022 FTE), Actual Salary £20,206-£21,633 per annum. There are also opportunities to increase your salary by running lunchtime and homework clubs.
Working hours and contract
Working hours: 28.33 hours per week Monday to Friday 8.20am-3pm, term time only, paid for 47.36 weeks per year.
Contract: Fixed Term for one year.
