WeChat Specialist – Social Media Manager / Content Strategist

Day rate: £300
A globally recognised photography brand with a flagship consumer experience in London is looking for an experienced WeChat Specialist to support the launch and ongoing management of their WeChat Official Account, helping them better connect with Chinese audiences.
The Role
This role will cover two key phases:
Launch & Setup
* Establish and structure the WeChat Official Account
* Ensure the platform ecosystem is set up correctly for brand engagement
* Support the initial launch strategy
Ongoing Channel Management
* Develop and plan WeChat content
* Manage publishing and channel updates
* Optimise engagement and follower growth
* Work alongside the wider marketing/brand team to evolve the strategy
What We're Looking For
* Strong experience managing brand accounts on WeChat
* Understanding of Chinese digital ecosystems and audiences
* Experience with content strategy and social media planning
* Ability to work strategically while also managing day-to-day publishing
This is a part-time but strategic role (approx. 10 hours per week) and would suit an experienced freelancer or consultant with strong China-focused social media expertise.
