You’ll work across a range of personal finance and consumer rights subjects – from financial reclaiming and pensions to benefits entitlement, childcare costs, and more – producing accurate, engaging, and actionable content that helps millions of people.**WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING*** Use your expertise and fresh ideas to maintain, grow, and improve on-site guides, ensuring they’re up-to-date, accurate, and engaging.* React quickly to news and policy changes, spotting opportunities for new content.* Pitch, research, and write for MSE’s weekly email, which reaches more than eight million people each week.* Collaborate with other teams, such as News and Campaigns, to pitch and write stories that highlight consumer issues and drive impact.* Use analytics, research, and industry sources to inform decisions and optimise performance.* Build and maintain strong networks of internal and external expert contacts.* Represent MSE as a subject expert when required.**WHAT WE LOOK FOR*** Exceptional writing and editing skills, with a flair for making complex topics clear, engaging, and relatable.* Experience in writing for consumer audiences, particularly in relation to personal finance topics* Willingness to proactively generate ideas and improve content.* Strong organisational skills, able to manage multiple priorities independently.* Confidence with content management systems.* A collaborative approach, inspiring and supporting colleagues in a fast-paced environment.**WHAT REWARDS ARE ON OFFER*** Up to 27 holidays + bank holidays* Pension up to 6% employer contribution* Bonus scheme* Work from anywhere scheme – 2 weeks per year* Financial coaching* Mental health platform access**HOW WE’LL INVEST IN YOU**We’re invested in your development. A timed task will be sent out prior to this interview stage and asked to be returned.
