Quality & Compliance Officer – Adult Education & Skills

We are seeking an experienced and detail-driven Quality & Compliance Officer to join our fast-growing adult training division. This pivotal role will ensure the highest standards of data integrity, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance across all our training programmes.
You will play a key role in maintaining and improving our compliance frameworks, supporting Ofsted readiness, and ensuring we continue to deliver exceptional learning experiences that meet ESFA, awarding body, and internal quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee all compliance and quality assurance processes across our funded training provision.

Manage internal audits and coordinate external audits to ensure data accuracy and full ESFA compliance.
*
Lead on internal quality checks of ILR data, ensuring all learner records are accurate and error-free.
*
Oversee data administration processes including enrolments, withdrawals, completions, and achievement recording.
*
Conduct monthly reconciliations between PICS and ESFA data reports.
*
Oversee awarding body registrations, certification, and exam processes, ensuring JCQ guidelines are consistently met.
*
Support and maintain Ofsted inspection readiness through strong record-keeping and compliance documentation.
*
Coordinate and monitor End Point Assessment (EPA) processes to ensure timely and compliant delivery.
*
Develop and deliver compliance training and guidance to internal teams to maintain high-quality standards.

Produce accurate reports and dashboards to support internal quality reviews and management decision-making.
Key Skills & Experience:
*
Proven experience within the training or education sector, ideally in a quality, compliance, or MIS role.
*
Strong understanding of ESFA funding rules, ILR data requirements, and compliance processes.
*
Experience of using PICS MIS or similar systems for reporting and data management.
*
Working knowledge of e-portfolios and quality monitoring systems.
*
Previous experience supporting Ofsted inspections or audit activity.
*
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.

High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and data integrity.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to train and guide others.

Proficiency in Excel and database management for data analysis and reporting.
*
A proactive and professional approach to maintaining and enhancing quality standards.
