Job Description:
We are seeking a Fire and Security Project Manager to oversee UK fire safety and building security projects. Responsibilities include conducting risk assessments, audits, managing contractor-delivered works, and overseeing follow-up actions such as repairs and maintenance services. The role requires building strong partnerships with customers and delivering first-class customer service.
Key Skills and Experience:
* Experience working in housing or facilities management within a contracting business.
* Contractor management experience, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
* Qualifications such as FPA Level 3, FPA Level 4, or equivalent.
* Knowledge of fire regulations, including the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, legislation, and best practices.
* Understanding of relevant British Standards related to servicing, maintenance, and commissioning.
* Ability to drive company vehicles, with a valid UK driving licence.
Responsibilities:
* Monitor and manage fire safety and security projects, ensuring proper resourcing and adherence to financial policies and budgets.
* Manage contractors effectively.
* Maintain documentation for work specifications and tenders, providing accurate information to senior management.
* Coordinate and communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
