My client is seeking a skilled Maintenance Operative to join the team at a beautifully designed 177-bed student accommodation scheme in London. As a maintenance operative, you’ll take ownership of both reactive and planned maintenance tasks, work proactively to uphold health & safety standards, and provide a high level of customer service to residents.
Your Responsibilities:
1. Manage reactive and preventative maintenance tasks daily.
2. Identify and resolve resident maintenance issues such as unblocking sinks, showers, and other related problems.
3. Maintain high standards of cleanliness and security, ensuring the accommodation is a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for students.
4. Conduct regular inspections of common areas, plant rooms, and other key facilities to ensure optimal conditions.
5. Assist on-site contractors, ensuring timely completion of work while adhering to health and safety procedures.
Your Requirements:
* Experience in PBSA, BTR, co-living, or hospitality sectors.
* Skills in plumbing and carpentry.
* Experience working with contractors.
* A passion for customer service and creating positive living experiences for students.
