We have an exciting opportunity for an Administrator to contribute to the development and ongoing success of the CGL service. We are looking for someone who is motivated, enthusiastic, committed and driven in order to meet the expectations of this challenging role. The successful candidate will have responsibility for the production of prescriptions. They will also provide effective administrative support, and will offer organisational and administrative services to the team to contribute towards its aims and objectives. Location: Manchester Working Hours: 30 hours per week* Salary: £25,077 per annum* (based on full time hours, pro rata for part time) Contract Type: Permanent Please note: Full-time hours at Change Grow Live are 37.5 hours per week. For part-time roles, the salary and payments will be pro rata based on contracted hours. About the role: As an Administrator, you will play a crucial role in supporting the day‑to‑day operations of our prescribers and clinical team. You’ll ensure our appointment systems run smoothly, coordinate clinical diaries, and communicate effectively with GPs and other professionals. Your work will have a direct impact on the quality of support our service users receive — helping us maintain safe, efficient and compassionate care. Key responsibilities include: Providing effective clinical administrative support for our service, with the focus on positive outcomes for our service users always in mind. Providing administrative support to our team of doctors and non-medical prescribers. Taking responsibility for personal development, identifying personal training needs and participate in regular supervision and appraisal. Organising clinical diaries for our team of prescribers. Overseeing the effective operation of our appointment system. Using a mail merge to generate medical letters regarding a service user’s treatment and ensuring that letters are sent to GPs and other professionals in a timely manner. Ensuring that communication regarding a service user is professionally documented on their treatment record, including the uploading of relevant documents. Attending and minute relevant meetings as requested. Ensure that telephone calls from outside agencies, clients and CGL staff are dealt with promptly and courteously, transferring calls to appropriate personnel when necessary. Collating, monitoring, and reporting data & information. Liaising with GPs to request medical summaries prior to appointments. Supporting the wider admin team as and when necessary. About you: We’re looking for someone who is: Confident with IT systems including Word, Excel and data entry Organised, efficient and able to manage competing priorities A strong communicator — both verbally and in writing Empathetic, professional and non‑judgmental Calm under pressure and able to work independently when needed A true team player who values collaboration Committed to equality, diversity and positive outcomes for service users Desirable: Experience within a healthcare or social care setting, or a qualification in IT, office administration or customer service.
