About the Role As Chef, you will be responsible for delivering nutritious, balanced, and appetising meals tailored to the individual needs of residents living with dementia. Your responsibilities will include: ✔ Preparing fresh, high-quality meals and snacks daily ✔ Catering for dietary requirements and specialist needs ✔ Maintaining excellent food hygiene and kitchen standards ✔ Managing stock control and ordering supplies ✔ Creating varied and engaging menus ✔ Working closely with care teams to support resident wellbeing ✔ Ensuring mealtimes remain enjoyable, calm, and person-centred What We’re Looking For We are looking for someone who is: ✔ Passionate about cooking and nutrition ✔ Experienced within a care home, healthcare, hospitality, or catering environment ✔ Organised, reliable, and calm under pressure ✔ Knowledgeable around food safety and hygiene standards ✔ Compassionate and understanding of the needs of older people and dementia care ✔ A positive team player with excellent communication skills Food Hygiene qualifications are essential.
