f meetings and pre-commencement documentation. You will work closely with the Agent and Section Foreman to allocate resources effectively, ensuring activities are carried out to the highest standards, within schedule and budget constraints.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing the site engineering team and fostering the performance and development of site and Section Engineers
Coordinating construction operations to ensure compliance with contract requirements and safety, health, environment, and quality (SHEQ) standards
Assisting with the production of programmes, progress reports, resource and cost plans, and financial forecasting
Conducting site measurement, material reconciliations, and cost control activities
The successful candidate will possess the following key skills and qualifications:
HNC/Degree in Construction/Civil Engineering or equivalent
Demonstrated knowledge and practical application of Site Engineering activities
Construction supervision skills with a focus on earthworks
Extensive experience in earthworks techniques
Previous experience in quality assurance and geotechnical management preferred
Strong team skills and the ability to collaborate effectively
