Children's Deputy Manager – Full Time
Location: MK42 (Bedford)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm
Salary: £33,000 – £38,000 (depending on experience)
We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Children's Deputy Manager to join our dedicated team in MK42. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about delivering high-quality care and education and is ready to take the next step in their leadership career.
About the Role:
As Deputy Manager, you will support the daily management of the setting and play a key role in leading a team of staff to ensure a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children. You will work closely with the Manager to maintain high standards, support staff development, and build strong relationships with families and external professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in the effective day-to-day running of the setting
* Support and lead staff to deliver outstanding care and education
* Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safeguarding requirements
* Promote a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for all children
* Build strong partnerships with parents, carers, and the local community
About You:
* A minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare (Level 5 desirable)
* Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within a childcare setting
* Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and safeguarding practices
* Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
* Committed to delivering high standards and continuous improvement
