They collaborate with clients all over the world to create beautifully made solutions for outdoor advertising, trains, ships, vehicles, offices, retail and the leisure industry. They are now seeking a detail-oriented Credit Controller, in a newly created role, to join their Finance team near Southampton. This is a key role ensuring the effective management of debtor accounts, supporting financial reporting, and safeguarding cash flow to enable the business to continue thriving. Credit Controller, day to day duties: Manage the full credit control process, ensuring timely collection of outstanding debts Produce and issue accurate sales invoices in line with company procedures Monitor customer accounts and proactively follow up on overdue balances Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients to resolve payment queries Work closely with the Finance team to support month-end reporting and reconciliation Provide debtor analysis and regular updates on outstanding balances Assist in improving and developing processes to minimise late payments and reduce risk Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant financial regulations There may be a need for some occasional travel Credit Controller, ideal applicant: Proven experience in credit control and debt collection Confident in managing debtor accounts and resolving payment issues Strong financial awareness and numeracy skills Excellent communication and negotiation skills with a professional approach High attention to detail and strong organisational skills Able to work both independently and collaboratively within a team Previous experience in the graphics, manufacturing, or related industries (advantageous) Qualification in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (preferred) Credit Controller, the benefits: Competitive salary Continuous support from peers and managers 25 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays (with incremental increases after 5 years) Free parking on site Health Cash Plan Access to our Employee Assistance Programme Company team-building and social events Pure Human Resources Limited works in partnership with Stewart Signs Ltd in providing HR and Recruitment support.
