A variety of shift patterns to be covered including weekends. Timings are 7:30am - 8:00pm.
Birnbeck House is home for up to 13 adults with complex learning disabilities.
A night enhancement of £1.50 per hour will apply from 8pm to 7am, Monday – Sunday (this does not apply to sleep-ins). A weekend day enhancement of £2.00 per hour will be paid from 7am to 8pm, Saturday and Sunday.
As a Team Leader with Leonard Cheshire, you will become part of a fantastic team. You will provide effective supervision of a team of Support Workers, lead with passion and enthusiasm, and promote positive outcomes for disabled people with a flexible and proactive approach.
You will ensure our customers receive the very best care, personal support, and assistance with daily tasks. Supporting our Person-Centred approach, you will ensure maximum independence for our customers and help them achieve individual aspirations.

To be successful in this role, you will:
* Ideally have a level of professional development and registration (NVQ/SVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care, L4 NVQ/SVQ) or be willing to work towards a relevant qualification.
* Have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively.
* Have experience in supervising a team.
* Work flexibly and creatively with customers and their families.
* Be experienced in working within a care setting.
* Flexibility to work within rostered hours and participate in an on-call rota where required.
