Responsive Repairs Manager To lead and manage the delivery of a high quality Responsive Repairs service which ensures compliance with relevant Health & Safety legislation through effective management of general repairs, minor adaptations, disrepair works, electrical testing (EICR)., major repairs and out of hour repairs, including the timely and efficient delivery of a customer-focused service. To lead the service with particular regard to ensuring best working practices are followed, and that they provide value for money to FCHO and its customers. To be responsible for ensuring high performance levels and excellent service delivery by the Responsive Repairs service and the individuals within it, including productivity levels and financial planning and control. This will include continual monitoring of performance and identifying when remedial action is required and which action is appropriate in order to meet the key objectives, targets and financial constraints of FCHO. To ensure the Responsive Repairs Service is continually focused on delivery of an excellent service that is both efficient and effective and demonstrating continuous improvements. Our Offer: A salary of £52,217.00 per annum A 37-hour working week Holiday entitlement is 30 days, plus one shut down day which will be determined by the company and eight bank holidays. Skills & Abilities: Has a full UK driving licence Minimum HNC in Building or equivalent Level 4 Housing management qualification (or willingness to work towards) IT literate, including demonstrable ability to produce and interrogate spread sheets and prepare written reports Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Excellent planning, organising and prioritisation skills Knowledge & Experience: Proven experience in managing multi-disciplinary repairs teams to deliver high quality repairs services Strong track record of managing successful building repairs services with a strong customer focus Proven experience of leading a large team to successfully manage and implement change Demonstrable experience of financial planning and successfully managing budgets in a building repairs environment, including procurement of goods & services Knowledge and experience of HR policies & procedures including, recruitment, disciplinary, grievance and bullying etc Knowledge of contract and commercial management in a building repairs environment Knowledge of key procurement principles and requirements to deliver value for money and efficient repairs services Interested?
