Greenway are looking for an Assistant Site Manager to join the team at the Bootle Site. This position will require you to work closely with the Site Manager to assist with the day-to-day management of the Redfern St waste facility and all of the processes within.
This is a hands-on role and will involve working with the on-site team to ensure full permit compliance during say-to-day operation of the site
Training and support will be provided wherever necessary.
Job Description
Will include but will not be limited to the following:
Ø Ensuring full compliance with the site permits
Ø Waste acceptance and compliance with pre-acceptance
Ø Organisation of site operators
Ø Liaising with Senior Chemist and Process Chemist to ensure sufficient staffing cover across all areas of the site
Ø Stock control and maintenance below permit limits
Ø Compliance with HSE segregation guidelines
Ø Assessment, organisation, and upkeep of staff training requirements including new starter inductions and training programs are organised and adhered to
Ø Responsibility for contractor inductions and permit-to-work implementation
Ø Liaising with site management to best implement day to day work requirements
Ø Liaising with relevant authorities as the job demands
Ø Holiday and illness cover for the Site Manager
