Job Responsibilities
As a Maintenance Technician, your specific responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks. To thrive in this role, you will need to:
* Confidently Interact with External Contractors: Coordinating repairs seamlessly.
* Work Collaboratively with the Team: Be a great colleague who understands the importance of quality service.
* Sustain High Energy Levels: Juggling tasks while maintaining efficiency.
* Assist the Management Team: Keeping our stores operating smoothly by maintaining equipment and facilities.
* Minimize Customer Disruption: Coordinating repairs with minimal impact on our valued customers.
Additional responsibilities include:
* Ensuring all Tesco sites are safe and functional environments for customers and colleagues.
* Following the planned work schedule to achieve first-time fix, improving efficiency and effectiveness.
* Collaborating closely with team members, sharing best practices and knowledge.
* Performing general day-to-day store and property maintenance.
* Using mobile devices such as phones and tablets to optimize work completion and updates.
* Representing the Tesco brand by demonstrating our core values, maintaining a positive attitude, and taking pride in wearing the Tesco uniform.
* Attending local and national meetings, providing valuable input and feedback.
* Supporting a diverse and inclusive culture.
Minimum Requirements
You will need:
* Previous experience in maintenance, engineering, or construction environments.
* Digital confidence in using tablets to view work schedules and manage emails.
* Operational skills including ONC or equivalent qualification, a full driving license, health & safety awareness, communication & collaboration skills, Office 365 knowledge, and completed technical training modules relevant to your abilities.
