This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to make a difference to the lives of children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities in Stockton.
We are looking for passionate, motivated and well‑organised individuals who have knowledge and relevant experience of working with schools and children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.
A caseworker will have the ability to work proactively with all agencies, families and schools and the pupils themselves to ensure a pupil is fully supported.
They must be able to manage and prioritise their own workload, be solution focused, resilient and have a commitment to learning new skills. This includes working in partnership with staff in schools to provide high quality advice, guidance, support or challenge when needed. Caseworkers are also expected to plan and deliver weekly outreach support to pupils across all age groups.
You will be working with a dedicated, motivated and ambitious Children’s Services team & work within the Assessment & Review Team, working closely with Senior Caseworker SEND Support and the Specialist Teacher for Inclusion.
Candidates should be passionate about improving outcomes for Children & Young People with SEND and have knowledge of the current challenges and advances within SEND and AP.
Please note this is a fixed term post until July 2026.
