JOB TITLE:Senior Enterprise Architect (Modern Workplace)
LOCATIONS: Manchester or Leeds
SALARY: £90,400 - £106,400
HOURS: Full time, 35 hours per week
WORKING PATTERN:Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at one of our office sites
ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
We’reseeking an experienced Senior Enterprise Architect to lead the strategic direction of ourColleaguetechnology landscape. In this pivotal role,you’llshape and influence architectural vision, drive major transformation programmes, and ensure our solutions align with business strategy and future needs.You’llprovide thought leadership, mentor other architects, and play a key part in setting technology direction across the bank.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
1. Lead the definition and delivery ofColleague TechnologyDomain technologystrategy, working closely with senior stakeholders and thePrincipal Architect.
2. Set andmaintainarchitecture roadmaps, guardrails, and patterns, ensuring alignment with business and technology goals.
3. Provide strategic oversight and governance for major transformation initiatives.
4. Mentor and develop a team of architects, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
5. Represent architecture in executive forums, influencing decision-making at the highest levels.
6. Build andmaintainstrong relationships across business, engineering, and technology teams.
7. Stay ahead of emerging technologies and industry trends, bringing innovative thinking to the organisation.
8. Champion agile ways of working and support iterative delivery.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED…
9. Deepexpertisein enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman, etc.)
10. Strategic experience withutilisingcloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure), hybrid hosting, and modern architecturesto solve business challenges.
11. Strong background in Workplace Technologies (Microsoft Productivity & Collaborationsuite, Identity platforms,EpturaEngage, Facilities Management platforms)
12. Proven ability to set architectural vision and influence at senior levels
13. Experience leading and mentoring architecture teams
14. Strongtrack recordof driving technology strategy and transformation
Any of the following would be a bonus…
15. Deep industry insight intothe world ofWorkplacecomputing as it pertains tothe financial services industry
16. Experience with utilising GenAI, Agentic technologiesas they related tosupporting Colleagues in the workplace
17. Config as Code and other forms of Automationsuch as managed governance approaches
18. Expertisein resilience and continuity, including disaster recovery and business/service continuity planning
19. Experience with the data protection,encryptionand policy enforcement tooling
