Overview
Nottingham University Hospitals (NUH) is looking for a proactive and passionate Advanced Pharmacy Technician Stores to lead the delivery of the stores and distribution services across both the City and Queens Medical Centre campuses. You’ll play a key role in shaping how we deliver safe, effective, and patient-centred pharmacy services while helping drive quality improvements that impact thousands of patients.

Responsibilities
* Proactively lead, organise, manage and develop the Pharmacy stores at NUH
* Contribute to strategy and implement service improvements in safety and operational efficiency while maintaining compliance with legislation
* Ensure all standard operating procedures and risk assessments reflect current practice, governance requirements and are implemented
* Take part in the 7 day shifted rota and bank holiday duties
Leadership & Qualifications
* A proven leader confident in managing teams, line management responsibilities, and developing services
* Experience in risk and performance management, audits, incident reporting, and ensuring compliance with medicines legislation and GDP
* A collaborative communicator who can influence and build effective working relationships across multidisciplinary teams
* A strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Organised, adaptable and proactive, able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
* Driven by quality and improvement, passion for providing safe, effective, and patient-centred services

* Under the guidance of the Principal Pharmacy Technician - Operational services: Proactively lead, organise, manage and develop the Pharmacy stores at NUH
* Contribute to strategy and implement service improvements in safety and operational efficiency and effectiveness whilst maintaining compliance with legislation
* Ensure all standard operating procedures and risk assessments reflect current practice, governance requirements and are implemented
* To be a role model and develop and maintain working environments that encourage teamwork, mutual support and respect
* To take part in the 7 day shifted rota and bank holiday duties
