Benefits Salary IRO £30,000 (dependent on experience) Permanent, Full Time – 8:30–5:00pm or 9:00–5:30pm Company Pension Scheme Shopping discounts Additional wellbeing benefits, including legal and health support Responsibilities Support month-end, quarterly, and year-end reporting cycles, contributing to management accounts, budgeting, KPIs and financial statements. Maintain accurate financial records, posting journals and updating ledgers. Reconcile income, income work-in-progress schedules, and assist with invoice and project-related financial tasks. Liaise with internal and external auditors as part of the wider finance team. Work closely with HR and an outsourced payroll provider to ensure a smooth and accurate monthly payroll process. Prepare bonus, redundancy and holiday accrual calculations, and maintain monthly reconciliation between SAGE 200 and payroll. Provide timely responses to employee payroll queries. Deliver general administrative and transactional finance support as required. Assist in the supervision and development of a finance apprentice Qualifications AAT Level 4 qualification preferred (or working towards). Experience in an accounts or finance role. Strong payroll and accounting experience desirable. Advanced Excel capabilities (e.g., VLOOKUP, SUMIF, pivot tables). Skills & Attributes Adaptable and proactive approach. Strong customer service mindset. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively. High levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
