We now invite applications for the following opportunity at our Dunman Factory site in Cookstown: Process Operative(Retail Cheese) Full-time, permanent opportunities exist within our Retail Cheese Production Team. As a Process Operative, you will be a central part of a focused and energetic team striving to achieve optimum levels of machine efficiency and product quality. This is an important role within the production operation, and we are looking for candidates who are keen for responsibility, who wish to develop their skills, contribute to a winning team and be proactive to deliver improvement initiatives. The Role: Ensure a quality product by checking for defects Operate Machinery as per company Standard Operating Procedures and Risk Assessments Adjust production lines as needed to avoid downtime Assist and support production teams in loading and unloading materials and products as necessary Keep accurate records of production activities to comply with company and legislative requirements. Strictly follow the departments cleaning schedule and support other functions as deemed necessary The Person: Essential: Minimum of 12 months experience in manufacturing environment, preferable FMCG or similar A good general level of education and good work ethic Excellent communication skills Attention to Detail Ability to work as part of a team and on their own initiative Competent in MS Office Co-operative to work flexible shift patterns Desirable: 6 months experience in FMCG manufacturing environment 6 months experience in Packing and/or High Care Relevant experience of machine operation, quality control, maintenance of production/process records and general packing duties The ideal candidate will be self motivated, keen for responsibility and to further develop their skills whilst contributing to a winning team. Hours of Work: Rotating shift pattern Monday Friday 6.00am -2.00pm, 2.00pm-10.00pm including bank holidays, as the business requires.
