A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for an Lead Electrical Design Engineer to join an excellent Manufacturing company in the Bristol area.

Role & Responsibilities:
* Design of precision mechanical/electrical systems and mechanisms.
* Guiding and mentoring the engineering team members, ensuring their professional growth and development, including introduction for new staff.
* Team compliance with company quality, and other regulatory and compliance standards.
* Support other departments by answering queries and requests for information relating to your function.
* Support the other Lead Engineer to ensure engineering consistency.
* Prioritise the continuous improvement of engineering function and the team.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
* Design of precision mechanical/electrical systems and mechanisms.
* Broad knowledge of manufacturing techniques and materials.
* Qualifications in an engineering discipline (Mechanical/Electrical/Manufacturing/Software) and CAD software, (Solid Edge/AutoCAD preferred)
* Lifecycle management knowledge
* Report writing skills, Microsoft Word & Excel - competent
* Microsoft Project
* Knowledge of regulatory and standards compliance requirements
