Part-time Housekeeper Job in West Sussex
A busy, professional family in West Sussex is seeking an organised, proactive, and reliable part-time housekeeper to support the smooth running of their home. The household includes two teenagers (at boarding school during term time) and two friendly dogs.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Hands-on cleaning to a high standard
2. Laundry
3. Running errands and organising the home
4. Doing the food shop and buying groceries
5. Pet care, including walking the dogs
6. Managing maintenance – timings, house calendar, letting workmen in, gardeners etc.
The ideal candidate will be hard-working and easy to get along with. They must be proactive, take the initiative, and have a good sense of humour. With 2 dogs in the home, the candidates must be dog friendly.
Pets: a Cavapoo and a working Cocker Spaniel
House: 10 bedrooms, 3 reception rooms, a separate guest cottage, pool house, and garage
Days & Hours: Monday – Friday (flexible), 20 - 30 hours a week
Salary: £18-20 GPH (Payroll or Self-Employed)
