Technology Enablement Manager – Belfast (Hybrid)
Salary: £60,000-69,000 + Benefits
We are working with a reputable employer to recruit a Technology Enablement Manager to join their Future Power Systems team. This is an excellent opportunity to lead innovation and enable the technologies needed to deliver a secure, flexible and fully decarbonised electricity system across Northern Ireland and the all-island market.
The Role
You will lead a team of engineers and analysts focused on evaluating emerging technologies and supporting their integration into power system operations.
Key responsibilities include:
* Leading technology evaluation and innovation initiatives.
* Supporting the introduction of new tools and operational practices.
* Managing a portfolio of projects, including planning, budgets and risk.
* Representing the organisation at industry forums and working groups.
* Building strong partnerships across the energy sector.
* Promoting a collaborative and high-performing team culture.
About You
* Degree in engineering, economics, mathematics or similar, with 8+ years’ relevant experience.
* Understanding of innovation processes and/or energy systems.
* Knowledge of system flexibility technologies, such as storage or interconnection.
* Leadership and project/programme management experience.
* Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
